You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
It's summer 2023. I'm well-equipped for a wet day out or a weekend trip, but I wouldn't normally go for a week long holiday in wet weather on wet ground.
What would you take with you to make it a bit more practical? B&B/hotel based.
- Two pairs of shoes and anything else that's slow drying
- Electric fan shoe dryer, gloves fit on it too
- String and pegs for a bathroom drip dry washing line
- Small tarp for room corner to put dirty gear on
3 sets of clothing. One to wear.one to wash, one to dry
Goretex socks and one pair of shoes
Rubble bucket for all your wet kit. Again you can stand in the thing if need be!
Hotel based? Take everything.
Put Mudhugger or similar on.
These are ace at keeping water out of the waterproof socks, especially on smooth legs:

Cut the cuffs off some kitchen gloves for the same effect. And a tenth of the price!
Already have the GripGrab CyclinGaiters, great things. Covers the gap when my trousers ride up off the cuffs of my Five Ten Trailcross Gore-Tex, so no longer really need waterproof socks with waterproof trousers. I did try kitchen gloves first but they were nowhere near big enough.
Good suggestions all, many not specific to a long trip but they do become more important.
