Somethings are worth doing. Like setting the alarm for 4am and getting a beachride in from 5-6am post work... 🙂

Yep Surly BFL, cheaper than a £140 45 Nrth Dunderbeist 26 x 4.6" tyre
Same tyre size that`s suitable to fit with a 1x drivechain without cassette ring removal as is the same on my own 170mm rear hub Surly Wednesday

Smiley frame! That shot at about 30 seconds, with you riding towards the sea and the sun, that's just gorgeous.

Lucky beggar. 🙂
Lovely location, lovely bike.

What's it like as a 29+ then ?
What's been your favourite wheel combo ?

The Puffin is really really nice in 29+ wheels with the eccentric BB set in the mid rear position giving shortest chainstay,
Think proper 29+ bike (but with a 100mm BB) with loads of mud clearance, But also capable of fitting Fat wheels for a day at the coast or wherever you need some extra rubber girth,

The eccentric BB is something i was a bit suspect about being a bit of a Fatbike Luddite (traditional 100mm threaded BBs) but its a great idea that allows crank hieght adjustment to suit differant wheel sizes 🙂
Sam has done his homework on this frame set 😉
