New frame arrived Wednesday. Life is busy so it took me until the weekend to build it up. Bank holiday is rocketmax test day! Demoed it back in November so it’s not a real gamble!
Can’t work out the picture thing though so you cannot judge my driveway!!

I finished building up my new (to me) Cotic Rocket the other day. What a lovely bike it is.

Really happy with how it came out. Was unsure if the red lyrik would look right but it’s all good I think! First ride was all good, 29ers are fast! Came into a few features with way more speed than wanted so a few offs and couple close calls with trees! This bike is way longer than my edit which I could throw around so it will take a little adjustment but the speed is there

If there was a black frame option on the rocketmax i think that would have been my pick!

Like really the look of that. What size of dropper have you fitted? I fancy one, but think I might struggle to fit a 170mm dropper post on a medium at 5ft 8

Well Andy as it happens I’m 5’8” on a medium! It’s a one up 170mm dropper. Think it could go lower in the frame if I ever needed it. Post was fiddly to set up as the frame design doesn’t allow for much slack in outer but it works fine.

@marksnook if it's any consolation, I gave to with the OneUp as I just couldn't get it working with my FlareMAX. Nice bike by the way 😀

You will get away with a 160 or maybe even a 185 Bikeyoke Revive.

I'm around 5.7 on a Medium Flare and had a 160 Revive with a smidgen under 20mm of post exposed beyond the seat collar.

Obviously you'd need to check you can get the insertion if you want 185, but the Revive is pretty favourable for that.

Yeah, getting exactly the right amount of cable housing in the seat tube was super fiddly with a oneup, on both my hardtail and my Rocket. Once set up, both my posts have been faultless.
