Probably quite a good fit. Be nice to see some Enve R&D applied to Mavic wheelsets. Like the Mavic brand but their aero/carbon road range is looking a bit old hat. Wonder if we'll see something along the lines of a "Mavic by Enve" range of wheelsets?

Er, it is not Mavic buying, buyer is the parent company which owns Mavic, Salomon, Arc'teryx, Suunto and others. Interesting to see what happens, the brands seem to be developed fairly indepently over there.

Salomon already produce shoes for Mavic so some synergies exist within the group

Would think Enve will continue as is but some patents and intellectual property will be used by Mavic = they'll sell similar products through both brands, but make 100% margin on Mavic and 500% on Enve

"ENVE is now where Mavic was 10 or 11 years ago."

And so by and large is Mavic, for mtb.
