Ripped my trousers and tape has come away in my jacket, want to get ut sealed instead of retaped if poss.

Seam sealer, the tube of stuff you use with tents will work.

You're gonna have to do something with the tear on the trousers first though, stitch/glue/patch etc, unless it's on a seam.

McNett tenacious tape is good for patching holes and tears.

Try Stormsure - https://www.stormsure.com/ - I have used their products to repair waders, tents and clothing. Good stuff

I used a tent style glue from Ho outdoors for the seams that came away on my waterproof trousers,it does a job but I reckon retaping would be ideal
