Any recommendations for waterproof winter boots for flat pedals for under £100?

Currently wear Shimano AM41 shoes (have 2 brand new pairs in the box) waterproof trousers and sealskinz socks

Now my feet stay dry as the water runs down the trousers and Ive got the sealskinz on, my issue is the shoes get covered in mud and water so they have to be cleaned which gets them more wet and then have to be dried (radiator or next to a dehumidifier)

Would rather have some waterproof boots that i can wash off whilst wearing without them getting wet on the inside

I've just taken to putting the muddy shoes on the radiator and use a stiff brush to remove the mud once dry.

The 510 EPS Freeriders wash easier than non EPS versions but they're definitely not waterproof, though have waterproofing.

Vaude Moab Mid STX are great. Had mine for a couple of years and still going great. You can pick up the older version which are fine for under £100 depending on you size feet. Just bought my wife a pair for £90.

Depending on your size, the MT500 Plus overshoes are knocking around at about £25 at the moment.

Cheers for the replies and will check out the other thread

Will also check out the Vaude Moab Mid STX

Not interested in five tens, Ive got a set as going out traniers but would never ride in them, too grippy for me as i like to move my foot around plus i want to be able to clean the shoes without having to dry them hence wanting waterproof boots for flat pedals

Ive done the overshoe thing (im also a roadie) and i just don't get on with them on the mtb as they get ripped apart and snag on the pedal pins

The MT500 Plus are designed for flat shoes / pedals, in case you weren't aware.

Cheers but Ive read the reviews on the MT500 plus and they are useless for people with size 10 feet like me

The most they can take is a 9.5 shoe and even then its a 10 minute fight to get each one on which is just a faff i cant be arsed with

They do a a MT500 plus 2 which has larger sizes which would fit my feet but at £50 a pair id rather spend a little extra and get some proper winter boots that i can simply hose off whilst wearing them, then just slip them off and wipe them dry

When my shoes get caked in mud I use this Boot Buddy before taking my shoes off, used correctly it doesnt get my shoes any wetter than they already are IMO. Was £13 from Sports Direct.

It works well enough to be left in my car for all shoe cleaning jobs.

the problem with waterproof shoes is the sodding great hole in the top where you put your foot. Anything actually waterproof justs ends up as a shoe full of water which is horrible.

if your feet are dry and you are only worried about dirt/drying i`d go for something thats not spongy at all, lets water out and drys quick. specialized 2f0 are probably the best for this.

Cheers but the boot buddy wont help keep my boots dry from water ingress in the toe and lace areas which is my main issue

Not worried about the great big hole in the top as i wear waterproof trousers, my issue is normal shoes allow water in from the toe and lace area, with a waterproof boot and waterproof trousers the inside of the boot will stay dry and i can just hose off the mud and wipe clean whilst still wearing the trousers and boots without the boot ever getting wet on the inside so then i can just wipe dry and not have to air or radiator dry them

Prob going to buy a pair of Vaude Moab Mid STX boots as they will give me the results i want
