I'm after something to keep my phone waterproof and also to put all the bits and pieces, cards, money etc in to stash in my jersey pocket.

Anyone got any recommendations for something that's not too garish and isn't as spendy as a rapha do-dah?

Rapha, obviously. I have the big and small one. Like them both. Some of the brighter colours are often on offer.

Even the comic liked it, and that's saying something! https://www.cyclingweekly.com/products/rapha-rainproof-essentials-case-large-review

We use a lomo one, its clear on one side and has a view port for camera lens. Its roll-top like a tiny drybag. Its ace.

I use the YOSH Waterproof pouch on Amazon which allows you to still use your finger on the screen through the pouch side.

+1 for freezer bags or the sealable bags that DHB socks came in from Wiggle

I just use a waterproof phone.

Much easier than farting about with plastic bags.

I've got a Lezyne Caddy Sack in a medium size for this job.
It works, but the flap that seals it means that it's larger than it needs to be. There's also no separation for anything you put in there, so I always worry a bit about my phone screen being scratched to buggery. Just have to be careful how you load it & what you put in it.

I keep meaning to get one of these to try:

I’ve been out sea kayaking today - sea state 3-4, gusting F5-6 and quite regularly up to my chest in sea water - my iPhone was in the front pocket on my life jacket. My car keys were in a waterproof pouch however.
