You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Bought an Endura Hummvee jacket which I like but it's a little too big. Can't find any XS. I'm usually between S and XS.
What else is there with pit zips? Its the only way I stay cool. Breathable material usually means it won't be waterproof in a year or 2.
Nothing too bright or water resistant. Must be waterproof with pit zips or similar large zip vents.
Big pockets that when open vent and also vents at the back.
There is sometimes a further discount code to be had on first order
I have one of these, great bit of kit and has under arm zips

pick up one of these for less than half price recently - patagonia dirt roamer storm. smock style isn't for everyone, but the half length zip and the full length venting zips on either side work great (don't go under the pits though) for dumping heat. relaxed fit as well so allows air to circulate. nice an light, packs pretty small and survived a weekend of biblical rain at BPW really well. if you shop around there normally some on sale for c half price (would never pay the full amount - it's good, but worth the full rrp)

Quite like that. Not too expensive too. Was very indecisive about hoods so good to see it folds away.
Bruce 😬😬😬🙄🙄
Decathlon all the way.
Got an excellent one for about £90
Waterproof tea bags! There's trouble brewing.
https://backpackinglight.com/forums/topic/27921/ If you're not flush with cash it would be easy to add some yourself or pay a local seamstress a few pounds and modify a jacket you may well already have . I'm going to do that after seeing this thread but I know people like dopamine from shopping !
My old one was a decathlon jacket which was great. Not bulky and well designed. Sadly they don't make it anymore. The closest design was the Endura but they seem to come up big.
I like the Endura Singletrack (1), a big step-up from the decathlon jackets I'd been buying for years (was the same price on a [everlasting] sale at cyclestore.co.uk), though as per Bruce's, Endura have moved to an environmentally sound waterproof ... that they have been quoted as saying it suffers from "wetting out"... so I don't know if they should be recommended anymore.

This needs more recognition 👏👏
Worth taking a look at these on Sportpursuit I reckon... pit zips, proper gtx, different colours

I like the look of this Galibier one.
Not had one though so cant comment if its actually any good.
COURCHEVEL Storm jacket - Galibier
I've just ordered one of these:

It looks like a good jacket for warm/wet days and not just winter. The hood folds away which is a really nice feature too.
The Madison Roam 2.5 was great for me last year.
Have a look at the Rab Firewall. Hilariously long pit zips. Doesn't pack up small though
My MT 500 was very disappointing today.
All the rescue people have them so I assumed they were the business.
What's as waterproof as an army goretex jacket that's got a hood and you can wear on a bike?
