Got some new Endura Hummvee shorts and washed them in the machine with conditioner (with all my other biking stuff). They have gone stiff. I note that they say do not use conditioner. My Fox Sergeants have not gone stiff.

Any idea how to rescue them?

Google doesn't seem to help, all I get is websites linking the product.

Wear them, ride a bit, make them dirty, wash them with no conditioner next time.

They are no super-technical fabric, they will be fine.

I’m intrigued.

How stiff?

Rivita biscuit stiff? Corrugated iron outbuilding roof stiff? Week old dead cat pick it up by the tail like a tennis racquet stiff?

All pairs of my Humvees have done this. They go a bit sort of crispy.
If its relevant, I live in a hard water area.

Drip-Dry.
Not sure if it helps but I just like the saying.
Drip-Dry.

Not really. Mine tend to be dried on the line after a quick spin.
