I generally use something like Fenwicks or even car shampoo on a sponge (note, not near brake pads and discs!) and follow up with a coat of ordinary Turtle Wax. Stops the mud sticking to the frame.

depends on the part, but mostly;
Baby Wipes, great when they are on hand (loads in the house)
Tooth brush, with a bit of fair washing up liquid on it
chuck my bike in chain motor oil and then dry it off
then dry wipe my bike w/ a li'l bit off kitchen towel or lint free rag.

Thats my cleaning regime, maybe I should buy some muck-off stuff?

Well I use a very diluted Muc-off solution, seems to work OK. I spray the bike down and then use the 'bucket and sponge' technique to clean the bike. I finish off with a watering can of water as i don't have a hose pipe. Failing a diluted Muc-off I use a diluted car shampoo.

I take the wheels off and try my best not to get anything on the rotors and nothing but water on the calipers/pads.

lube and a bit of bike spray then done....

I'm sure people will set me right but so far things get clean and i don't have and bearing/seal/brake horror stories.

Having said that I don't clean after every ride. Once in a while I will remove the cassette and chain and clean in white spirit then re lube etc.

Prolly more detail than you wanted!

Fenwicks FS1 for me.
Due to its non-aggressive nature, FS-1 concentrate can be used neat as a degreaser or diluted with 10 parts water to form FS-10 bike cleaner

By far the best, and for a £10 because it's concentrated.
You use it neat as a powerfull degreaser, or diluted for normal cleaning.

So really 10lts for £10, by far the cheapest too!
and you can spray it on your discs all day long and not contaminate them

If I'm doing the annual 'big' clean, I might add in some car shampoo and wax.

People clean their bikes? I just sell them when they get dirty 😆

Had to resort to the horse trough at the bottom of Cleeve Hill yesterday though or they'd never have let me back on the train home 😳

Local market (skipton) engine degreaser for a pound a bottle! Buy 5 at a time lasts me 6 months... Seems harsh but it's not really strong enough to do damage and works a treat on everything, quick squirt and hose down... Done! Wife bought me some muckoff for Xmas it was not as good, very expensive .

I use hot water, squirt a little muc-off onto a cloth and then wash. Soft spray from a hose to wash the foam off and sorted. It also means I use considerably less muc-off than squirting directly onto the bike.
For cassette and chain I use Orontas which is the best degreaser I have found so far.

Autoglym car shampoo to wash.
GT85 to degrease the chain and running gear and wipe off.
Finish line red or green depending on weather to lube.
Meguires carnuba wax on the frame and other parts - makes washing them again so much easier.
