Driving back from my mum's birthday lunch this afternoon, we overtook a roadie who had what I thought was a bar end light on the right hand drop, that had a pulsing red light to the rear, white to the front. It was distinctive and visible - even my mum commented on it - but my Google Fu is weak tonight trying to find something like it.

I can find simple rear facing bar end lights, but the only F&R ones I'm showing appear to be helmet lights that you can O ring to the drop, and I'm sure the one I saw today was sleeker than that

Have I gone mad, was it all just a crazy dream....

There’s a moon one I’ve got that you can mount down on the drop or on your helmet - it’s a Moon Aerolight I think

The Tacx was what I imagined I saw, beginning to think it was either the Moon Aerolight or a Brightside Topside that I actually saw. Definitely black with light either end. Maybe a Lezyne Femto Duo

I used to have those Tacx ones - they were good but didn’t last…

Oh, didn't read properly. Not aware of anything with a white front light too.

I've got the moon aerolite. Great backup light. Weighs virtually nothing and combines front and back light.

I seem to remember buying something like that a while ago. Dunno what bars they were designed for but it wasn't my carbon ones!

I wouldn't mind one of those. Most of my commute is gravel so the dynamo set up is fine but I do 400 yards of fast, woodland A road that is nearly always foggy. I forget to switch my extra flashing rear off as I can't see it and thus I have to recharge which I try to avoid. I could see one on the bar.

I used to have bar end plug rear lights. Might still have them knocking around in a spares box. Should probably try and drag them out.

Can't see as much value in the white forward facing ones - but the rear red definitely help to give the cyclist a bit more visible width on a dark road.
