Go out on the bike in a thunderstorm, with carbon bars & seatpost, are you mad?

I was about to go out too but it lashed it down so i stayed in and did the shopping. although I don't mind getting wet I hate starting the rain knowing i'm going to get wet. Nothing worse.

I was about to go out too. Lights charged, ready to go. Can't be arsed now (Manchester).

I managed to sneak an hour in. Perfect conditions here, no wind, no rain and a nice sunset. Cumbrian weather is awesome!

Three hours riding today, barely a sprinkle of rain on the way home. Fish, chips & mushy peas for tea and a bottle of fine ale too - all easily justified on the back of that. Happy days.

Went out for a 3 hour XC run today. Lashed it down for almost 2 hours. Wonderfully refreshing and beautiful when it stopped!! Steaming forests!

Just got back from a ride, lashing it down here too. Great fun though with a sopping wet layer of rotting leaves over shiny wet roots, slidetastic!

I haven't been out for over 3 weeks now.

Just lost interest really quite abruptly and can't seem to motivate myself to go out 🙁

You want to put some shorts on too, Ton. You'll get arrested. 🙂

Glad (nay, delighted) to hear you're back out on the bike though - great news!

just back, really misty in places now that the rain has stopped, still a few flashes of lightening in the distance - feet soaked and freezing, but a good ride!

//wanders off to research waterproof shoes and socks//

A quick? ride in the Beacons was slowed due to stunningly soggy ground but no rain and no midges. Needed lights at the very end too, which was nice
