Going to be sell a bike soon, it has a 2 year manufacturer transferable warranty on some of it parts (not in contention). My issue, is when did the warranty start?
I bought a bike in November from an internet retailer, but it was faulty out of the box, and went back a few weeks later. The fault couldn't be fixed and they had no stock of the bike I'd bought, so they gave me another make/model. So by the time it was despatched to me, it was February, not much difference but still 3 months more potential warranty cover.
When did that warranty start? (I'm assuming Feb)
Original purchase date. So November.

Really? I do understand for a replacement part of a bike, that is the case, but this was a completely different bike, and seperate (zero value) invoice
still November, it's when the transaction happened. It will be in the T&C's.

Yep, it why, whenever possible, I ask for a refund and then repurchase.
