Regardless of the outcome of your claim, If you've ever had a claim, how d'you think you were treated? Fairly? Brusquely? Better than you thought you would, or much worse. Name and Shame by all means.

Had a nearly 3 year old Marin Rocky Ridge frame crack.
Showed it to the LBS where I bought it on Friday, replacement frame arrived the following Monday.
I was very impressed.

Marzocchi, a set of Z.1's, rebound seized, sent forks off, forks came back but still seized?!?, phoned up sent them back again and they replaced the innards completely all hunkydory, very polite and helpful on the phone, I was happy with the outcome 🙂

I've bought one of those Crank Bro's Cobalt BB's with a five year warranty. I've had one bearing change and one complete part change in just under 2 years.
Excellent service but I wonder if Crank Bro's really thought the whole thing through when they were offering 5 years warranty in the UK.

had a crack in the downtube of my old Lemond road bike, after 6years of use i think?

Contacted the LBS who contacted Trek, the frame was no longer made and no direct equivalent existed, further Trek no longer imported any steel Lemond road bikes into the UK.

So, i was offered the choice of 4 colours, on a much better frame, and would get it shipped direct from the states. When the box arrived they had also included a colour matched fork. Saved me buying a new fork. Just had to buy a new headset.

It did take a couple of months to turn it around, but very happy with the service i got,[*]

On my 3rd Marin warrenty (2 frames, one swinging arm)

Hope rear hub racket, 4years old but the replaced the 'part' for free.

CB cobolt isis BB, completely replaced without question.

All very fair & if anything unexpected on the part of Hope, though I'm annoyed (hey, I be if I want) the swinging arm Marin have now supplied me is silver, as the rest of the bike is black (& I was aupposedly promised a black one to come later....)

Spesh are currently doing well on their warranty over Epic rear shocks.... of course they probably shouldn't be failing quite as frequently.....

As this is the bike forum I can't rant too much about car dealers which seem a different matter entirely.

Ellsworth/Freeborn - replacement frame + swing arm, both within days
Commencal/Madison - replacement frame within a couple of weeks (thanks to Skyline Cycles)
Cove Bikes - Bought in Canada, replacement frame cost $50 CAD
Hope - no quibbles ever

All pretty good experiences.

Marin Pine mountain replaced with Indian fire trail frame free of charge.
Specialized epic swing arm repalaced free
Fox stanchions replaced free.

Superstar components basically blamed me for not installing the BB correctly. Strange that shimano and even RF B lasted far longer....
Don't bother with them
