I got a pike select+ a few months back from Ribble. But the problem with it is the damper adjuster is really stiff to turn, so much so its a bit sore on the old fingers.

So I want to return it, but reading Ribble's policy on warranty i'm unsure if i need to contact Ribble, or Rockshox

The Ribble Three-Year Warranty only applies to Ribble branded products; all other components are subject to the manufacturer's warranty, even if packaged or sold with Ribble products. Please see your product box and literature for details.

Far as Im aware I should have a standard 1 years warranty and if its needing returned then I do that to ribble, as my 'contract' is with ribble, not rockshox.

I've yet to actually contact ribble, but just trying to get a heads up. Forewarned is forearmed so to speak.

Anyone got the low down on this ?

Ta 🙂

Yes, you go through Ribble. However, SRAM has a global warranty so if Ribble flat refuse to do anything, any bike shop that deals with SRAM will also work (but they may charge for their time spent if they need to remove or refit the fork).

I suspect you'll struggle because it's a few months old. If it's been doing it from new, they'll ask why you didn't return it straight away. If it hasn't then they'll tell you it probably needs a service.

It's actually new unused. I've never fitted it.

I did ask on the emtb forum as others there had bought the same fork but I got the unhelpful answer of . It turns as it should. I mean. "It turns as it should" how frikken unhelpful is that 😆

So being unused I shouldn't have thought it would be an issue. Just been busy with an elderly ailing parent and not being able to get an sort of helpful description of how easy or stiff it's supposed to turn normally.

In that case, you should be ok.

Ribble want a video 😕

How exactly you can show on a vid how something feels to the touch beats me, but I guess its standard practise.
