cynic-al has it pretty much spot on! before sport do what you will be doing at about 1/4 pace for at least 10-15 mins... this means don't get out of the car park straight onto a monster climb, just gentle spinning on relatively flat ground! from a professionals point of view get your knees looked at, I have many biking patients who have knee symptoms that respond very well to some very basic articulatory treatment. Kind of like relubing your bike, your joints need the same! Failing any of that massaging around knee with arnica to stimulate blood flow for 5 mins before ride.

Ton - are your past knee problems biking related? I'm starting to get worried now that I'm a (relativly) new entrant to my 5th decade!

Currently only on one pee per night - I guess that progresses in parallel with the knees......... 🙁
