been riding in 5/10 sam hill shoes. very comfy, water resistant and dry quick, but my feet freeze in them even in wool socks.

in the past i wore a pair of 5/10 exum guide boots, 5 years use without cold feet. bit pricey now.

any idea's before i buy some more of the exum's?

Have used Magnum hi tecs in winter in the past, nice and warm but sole not that stiff. I ride clipped in all the time now so just chuck on whatever level of overshoe needed for the conditions and that works well for me. Don't know if could put some on normal shoes ?

I can ride fine in pretty much any comfy walking boot, but the stiffer the better. I like Asolo which suite my narrow feet and have a reasonably stiff mid sole. Walking boots with a stiffer sole are often a bit pricey

I'd just go try some boots on in a shop and choose a comfy stiff pair
