I'm struggling to find gloves suitable for colder weather for my toddler daughter. The closest I've found are skiing gloves but they're abit bulky and also expensive. Any recommendations?

Do you mean for riding bikes? Ti-go do some that are pretty good. My daughter has been wearing their smallest size since she was ~3.

We used Decathlon ski gloves.

At that age, warmth come before fine feel to feather brakes...
I'm presuming you've already thought about core warm and how that warmth gets to extremities - buff around neck, warm legs etc.

For riding Ti-go we’re the smallest we could find. Pretty much no one makes gloves that small it’s all about mittens which we found didn’t work well with active children who wanted to ride bikes, climbs trees or basically do anything dexterous with their hands.

I’ve been happy with the Ti-Go products, we’ve had gloves, knee pads and now their pro knee pads for the twins. I just wish their Ride Awesome Hoodies were back in stock for my 4 year olds.

We got some polarnopyret gloves with the extended cuffs, covers any gaps between glove a coat, you want to grab them when on a sale though

For riding basic woollen type gloves work well. They're cheap and effective - I usually have a few pairs with me to swap when they get wet. You can get some with printed palms that make brilliant grips but not really necessary.

Like these https://www.mountainwarehouse.com/kids/accessories/gloves-mittens/magic-grippi-kids-glove-2pk-p11869.aspx/

I've never bought them online, usually find something in Boyes / Yorkshire Trading / Home bargains type places. Ski gloves are a nightmare to put on very Young kids, definitely mittens if you need proper warmth.

We had exactly the same problem. We managed to pick up some penguin mittens from go outdoors for about £5. They were wind proof and waterproof (to an extent) and had a zip to make them easy to get on and off.

In no time he grew out of them so don't spend a lot of money on them!

Decathlon do some kids ones and they've nice and warm, but for a 3yr old most winter type gloves will do

Second hand spotty otter down mittens. They’ve been brilliant with ours.
