Mrs Soap and I are heading there for Easter so I need a plan of attack rather than riding round in circles missing all the best trails.

Sounds like what you really need is a guide. GPX can be a pain when trails are less obvious. There are lots of choices and options up there and someone making the decisions on the ground is probably sensible.
Not sure on my availability right now.
