this isnt a troll (althoug i have no idea what one of them is 😆 )...this is a mere rant!
was up stanage on sunday very early, was riding this section here :
now this to me and with my limited map reading skills is a public byway, and thus meaning its open to all traffic (im not sure on motor vehicles etc) but certainly fair game for cyclists and the likes....
anyways, i was riding alone (booo hooo), i stopped after the gate to make some adjusments to rear shock before descending, when this group of what can only be described as the worlds most miserable, self important, 'we own the land' types walked past me murmering all sorts, i caught the tail end of the coversation before i set of again, and they were basically amongst themselves (around 6 to 8 people) talking about how mountain bikers were ruining the walking paths and the likes, one stating that she was arguing with a mtb'er last week about how he had said 'we have as much right to be here as you do' then up jumped this fat turd with the point the point that 'we' were not even allowed on there....at this point i rode past and suggested he was wrong (as they had made it obvious i was suppose to hear), to which he and his group dismissed me and said they had been walking for alot longer and before i was probably even born (smug tw*ts!).....i continued, and ended up saying a few sarcastic remarks, that made me feel better, and felt id proved my point....this group was the biggest bunch of twits ive come across as walkers...it was basically its our land we own it, we deserve to be here more than you etc etc....
so am i wrong or am i right? the map suggests i was right unless something has changed recently!
