When I start my Roam up and start a ride it sometimes stays in the settings menu, leaving me with no way to access the usual pages like maps etc. When it does this, its not frozen. I can access all the settings and pause/resume a ride but just cant work out how to get back to the usual pages. I have to restart the unit then all seems fine. This happens about half the time.
Anyone know what this is?
Apologies if I’m telling you how to suck eggs but my Roam sporadically does this also
luckily for me, one quick click of the power button (as I’m sure you’re aware) and give it a second to think about it
sometimes it’s quicker than other times but never had to go down the restart the unit route

I can confirm this is the case, as mine did it last night, and not know what else to try (I thought longingly of this thread, as I hasn't seen Donslow's reply) and I hit the power button and it changed back.
Is this the relatively new ready to ride interface you're seeing? If you so it looks like you can turn it off in the app if you want.
The page I saw was very much like the right hand picture on that linked page, but came up after I had started the ride, & I was able to resume my rides details by pressing the power button for a moment..
Glad you got it sorted, took me a moment to work it out at first but soon realised a quick click of the power button is like an enter and exit settings button
