I've been pretty happy with my Peugeot Partner for three years, but now fancy something a little bigger for a couple of bikes and sleeping in.
What are peoples' opinions on the VW caddy maxi? Will it reallty do 50mpg like my Partner (VW site seems to say yes)? What sort of MPG do t5 owners get?
Any other thoughts?

40mpg with sensible driving in either a 102 or 130bhp t5, lower for both the other power options. 104bhp caddy (std not maxi) do around 47mpg from the 3 folk I know with them.
Maxi's still have a big price premium as they're not yet coming from fleets in any numbers so are rare.
How much stuff do you want to carry? How many bikes, do you want to sleep in it etc?

on the last 6 tanks of fuel 37-40mpg depending on the types of driving.
