Can he do it? Doesn't look great at the moment, but perhaps he is measuring his effort. Let's hope so.

Froome-dog looks to be falling well behind of Contador-cheat. Where is Wiggo when you need him.............

Rodriguez leads by one second from Bertie, Froome 16 seconds and Valverde at 59.

Scorching run by Bertie, this is becoming a fantastic tour to watch!

Indeed. I don't know what I feel about a caught doper doing so well. Head says "he's done his time, crack on". Heart says "I so hope you don't win". Either way, it's good and close racing and it's going to get even better.

retro Ban = not serving his time.
Plus hasn't the bench now been set at Tdf winning dopers having all their titles stripped and banned for life?

higgo et al, is it simply a case of if someone's caught, he's always a cheat, and anyone not caught, is always clean?

Seems naive to me.

Froome doesn't seem hungry enough, far too pragmatic

It may well just be his interview manner, I dunno

Froome is (hopefully) waiting for the long climbs rather than these 1km walls at the end of stages, nice to see close racing

I'm just getting a bit cross that the highlights are being shown at different times due to a stupid football match. Why should I wait til 10.30 pm, it's not convenient. 🙁

So looking forward to this weekend's mountain stages. With the top 3 so close it should make for some amazing racing. 🙂

Much more exciting than the Tour - the topography of the stages seem to help keep the excitement to the very end. Great ride from Rodriguez to hold on to the red jersey.

Bertie will take a load more on the long climbs, he's hungry.

Did anyone else notice Richie Porte posting a decent time? Hopefully Sky have been saving him for some big contributions in the longer climbs.

Can this be viewed anywhere else as I don't want to wait til 10.15 pm for today's highlights?

Thanks. 🙂

That TT yesterday, what a fantastic route but no wonder Froome didnt manage to make up time, it was a really tricky route, one that suited the brave & the good not just out and out TT specialists.
