Despite living on the very edge of the Peak District and riding the Dark Peak weekly, it occurred to me recently that I have very rarely ridden in the White Peak and so, I've purchased the VP White Peak Mountain Bike route book. I was under the (mistaken, now obviously) impression that there would be some GPX links to the routes that I can type into my Mac/phone and then download to my Elemnt Bolt.
Do I need to purchase the kindle version of these links or are they online somewhere?
I'll keep the printed version anyway. It's a lovely little book.
Don't think they ever produced GPX files of their routes, I usually plot them on the OS maps website using the book as a guide

n.b. if you haven't seen any of the recent stuff about Hollinsclough, the majority of those trails are currently shut. They talk them up in that book as must do but even if they weren't shut they still aren't worth doing imo. The buxton loop mentioned there through the Goyt valley is a cracker however and you can tag on some cheeky trails to make it better, ask on here if you do it. The majority of the white peak trails are quite tame with little or no tech, in comparison to the dark.
Have fun.
Perfect! Thank you very much and thank you for the heads up. I know the Goyt Valley and Macclesfied Forest areas very well. I always considered them to be Dark Peak. I never knew.
