Ive just been looking at the back end of my winter hardtail and it seems I have hit something with the back end - derailleur cage bent and it looks like the drop out is not straight (I have had ones that look OK but cause all sort of shifting issues I am sure a visually bent one needs a swift change)

Has anyone swapped a dropout on them - presumably Halfords will stock - but is it a from a wider parts bin and available elsewhere too?

(Mine is the black and yellow version , a couple of years old, not the new yellow model)

Thanks for any help!

I think superstar do them. Just make sure you match up the correct shape.

I made the enquiry with Halfords many months ago for a spare.

Local store was rubbish so emailed Customer Services.

Email back said Dropout for the bike was part number 127988 and costs £17.99.

Never ordered one so no idea if that was right, but if no joy worth a go at your local Halfords!

My local Halfords got me one in, took a good while to arrive an not cheap at around £25 for just the hanger side. Mine was marked up as for a D-jab (another voodoo model) but fits perfectly. Didn't come with any bolts or the oval shaped thing that goes on the other side, so keep hold of them.

They sometimes pop up on eBay, so worth keeping an eye on there.

Sounds like an ideal excuse to go single speed while you're waiting for it to arrive 🙂

There is one on the site Parksie mentioned but quite expensive at £28 for a small bit of metal

I cannot find one on the superstar site that is the same shape

The above is what they look like

Thanks to all for the help!

Just in case this helps anyone else - I know there are a few Voodoo Bizango owners around

I finally sorted this, by getting a hanger from the link Parkesie had above:

http://www.mountainbikecomponents.co.uk/hanger-327a

They were £28 - fitted it at the weekend and seems fine.

Halfords wanted £30 and a week to deliver - I never found anyone cheaper despite looking for a while (£30 seems quite expensive for a bit of metal!)
