Which would you choose? Both are similar priced. I think the only real difference is the Scout is a little more agressive with its geometry whilst the Vitus would be better at pootling around the woods.
Which model? The sentier is a bit better specced for the price. Both are very similar, same finishing kit etc too.
I was looking at these two, with a bias towards the Scout, but now going for a Sonder Transmitter.
Quite like the look of the Sonder. Would there be much difference between a 650b+ and a 29er?
Friend has last years Sentiner 29er it's a lovely bike. Perfect for 90% of riding. Not seen a Scout so can't comment only on spec and geometry
Scout is a phenomenally capable bit of kit, love mine (6ft riding an XL) - built to take abuse but still gets used for weekly XC.
Cant comment on the Virtus but that Sonder is a phenomenally ugly bike.
I had the 2014 Sentier, and as above, its a good, capapable bike. Great climber and trail bike - definitely more than a pootler!
