Anyone riding a Vitus Rapide, Synonym or FM936 in size small?

Reach numbers are right for my 5'4", 30" inseam 12yo, but at the HTT numbers of other bikes his size are a bit shorter - due to the steep Seat Tube angle I guess.

If you do have a small, how tall are you and how does it fit?

I'm also looking at bikes for a son the same height as yours, but planning on skipping from an XS through to a medium given that every morning he seems to have grown - by the time I hit the pay button he'll probably be big enough for a large!

Surprised to see the medium Vitus recommends 5'7" though.

I have one, I'm 5'7" with a short 30" inside leg.

I really like it. Mines currently got 110mm fork, 100mm rear, 120mm dropper.

I can only just run a 120mm dropper with 165mm cranks due to how far you can insert a seatpost into the frame, the picture linked below has 110mm dropper with 170mm cranks.

If you get 🇨🇳 the quality is excellent but do strip it and regrease the bearings and use loctite on the bolts.

I assume you've read: http://chinertown.com/index.php/topic,2079.0.html
The 120mm rear linkage is apparently now available from Carbonda.

I went from a custom HT with a 605mm ETT 430ish reach to the small 936 and I much prefer the 936's shorter ETT with it's longer reach for XC riding.

Thanks qwerty.
Small at 5'7 with saddle slammed forwards means I may not have much to worry about with seated pedalling.
I'd put 152mm cranks on so perhaps some extra post margin.
Carbonda are shipping with the 120 NS link now too.
Reeksy, he's on medium on a felt compulsion at the mo.
He grew through his 27.5 bikes XS 395, sm 410, med 430 but all with fairly typical 74deg seat angles. 445mm seems right for this one as the medium grows another 30mm.
