O line

Back in May a friend of ours at Herts shore was killed on his motorbike. We wanted to build a line in his memory and the o line was born. Owen used to use this forum and his brother still does. I thought I'd post it up.

That’s a great tribute, very thoughtful. Too high for me! RIP Owen.

It's fun to ride. Higher than it looks too

Lovely video. RIP Owen.

That said...you'd never get me that high off the ground. You lot must have balls of steel!

I get the fear riding along logs at ground level. Respect.

I was thinking how if someone made a tribute trail to me it would be some mildly disappointing overgrown singletrack, with jumps and drops sized for the fearful rider…

On a more poignant note, that reminded me it’s a year since my friend Chris died in a kitesurfing accident - on a bike he had that same middling mix of skill and fear as me - Tony, you coached him with another Brighton rider, Ash on the Jones Spaceframe, back in 2013. A memorial trail to him would be so mediocre but he was a gnarly kite surfer, went huge in the air in scary weather - I’m sure much wind and waves will blow through that he’d have loved. RIP.

I love that your crew can ride this line and remember their friend/brother.

Yeah I remember him. It's a mix of sadness and happiness when someone dies doing what they love.
