Both of my old Gelert bladders have packed up this week.
I object paying £30.00 odd quid at my LBS for a 3 litre Camelback so looking for readily obtainable alternatives.
The Tesco 2 litre one's look OK for £12.00, does anyone know if they are available in store at the bigger branches?
Or any suggestions for alternatives?
Would prefer 3 litre if possible, but needs must when the Devil vomits in your kettle.
Thanks in advance.
The source ones are good value and easy to clean:

I got a 2litre one from sports direct for £10. Karrimour branded. Valve isn't brillaint but works ok.

i paid about 15quid for mine a year and a half ago and its better than the basic camelbac i have that has no space for anything but the decathlon one takes bladder, keys, tools, wallet, munchies and small jacket.you wont be dissapointed......
Not used this but noticed it yesterday

M.O.D army issue hydration packs 15quid (my was anyway) on ebay have a black 3L cammel back bladder in them with stop valve, bite valve cover and neoprene tube cover.
the pack itself is 'ok' and comes in a range of different camo patterns.
oreetmon,
Have you got a link to the pack you got?
Plastic
link please also
TK Maxx sell them as well.
+1 for the Source. I've had one of their bladders for about 4 years and I'm rubbish at cleaning it out. I often just top it up between rides and rinse out every 2 weeks or so. Never need cleaning tablets, never get the squits!
They might be 20 quid but they're a very good investment.
Rusty spanner its cheaper to buy the rucksack from Tesco complete withbladder for about 12 quid thats what i did, nice little sack it is as well.

Cheers everyone - off to Decathlon, Tesco and Sports Direct for a quick look.
Much appreciated.
Mate got a Tesco one, it was crap and the bite valve leaked. You pays your money...
Decathlon one would be better.
I'd buy a Tesco one if it actually said Tesco on it 🙁
Buy cheap, but twice.
I replaced the bladder in an Aldi bag with a Camelbak bladder 4 years ago. Not missed a beat since. (the original bladder lasted about 6 weeks before the lid split)
Isn't there a lifetime guarantee on the Camelbaks?
However, there are some very cheap bladders here
I've had bad luck with those tesco ones, first one started leaking at the 'seam' at the bottom, took it back and the replacement leaked at the attachment for the hose. Ended up buying a camelbak one to replace it. They're bloody expensive, but i think at least come with a decent guarantee.
I'd use the Source ones every time! They don't taste of crappy plastic that Camelback seem to taste of to me.
Thanks for all the advice folks, endedup with one of the Decathlon bags, as above, along with a spare bladder.
Seem fine so far. Will report if any problems.
