I’m just wondering if theirs any bike stand storage available that is a vertical style that does not require a drill. I live in a rented property so drilling is not really an option ,the stand must be a vertical style as the cupboard is to small to accommodate the bike length ways.

A simple wheel hook would be ideal but as I can’t drill I need something else. Is their anything anyone can recommend, it’s just to hold my orange five.

Jesus Christ what the actual F? Is my eyes deceiving me,how the hell is that price remotely justifiable. Does it come with a bag of diamond's ? Then again i imagine its cheap for some roadys, they probably send that on bar wrap.

I have a bike stand that rests against the wall with a foot that sticks out below the bikes to keep them in place. it holds two bikes. I can't remember who made it but it's a bit like this

There are some nice wooden ones too from Gear Up

They have one in stock as well, which means they expect to sell it....

If they've only 1 in stock they've probably already sold a few.

That Gear Up rack, or at least the £20 copy I had, is no good for mountain bikes unless you're willing to turn the bars every time you take it on or off the rack. Also wouldn't help the OP who doesn't have room to store the bike length ways.

So Ive had a look at a few options, the bike nook keeps popping up but most demo photos of it are using road bikes and kids bikes. From what I have seen my magic mary tyre would be to fat for the nook stand to hold it securely. Also with my fives winter setup its a hefty weight and I question how it would fair with the weight .

I shall keep looking...

Ikea used to do one which extended between floor and ceiling with no drilling - I had one in a flat years ago. Might be worth checking to see if they still do them.

I have one of the Lidl workstands, cost £25 and I've stored my bike on it with the seat tube horizontal in the clamp so that the bike is vertical. You don't have to have the legs spread out all the way either so it doesn't take up much floor space (the legs on mine are about 70cm apart and it's stable enough).

It looks like a copy of the Lifeline stand that CRC do ( https://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobile/lifeline-folding-bike-workstand/rp-prod175045 )

I also have the Gear up floor to ceiling Oakrack which could take one bike vertically if it was hung by it's seattube, they look nice too.

Topeak do a couple, stand alone called a two up, plus one called a dual touch where it clamps from floor to ceiling. I bought a dual touch on ebay for about £50. Holds 2 bikes as well, thus justifying n+1 😉

Great until someone shoves the door open with some force!
