There's a hostel in the building that houses the lift station in La Chable.

It's as cheap as Verbier is gonna get - about £25pppn when we stayed in 2011.

And handy for the lift, obvs.

Like chakaping said, if you want the cheapest it's down the hill in Le Chable.

Renting an apartment for a week is about as cheap as you will get. So 4 of you, how many nights ? I know a lot of locals there and may be able to help (my guess would be chf1500 for a 2 bed for a week). The estate agents in the town do rentals and most apartments are empty in the summer.

Le Chable suggestion is a good one. You might like to try Hotel de la Valee in Loutier, they are bike friendly and convenient for ending the day down say Red Enduro 7. Not that cheap mind.

EDIT: by the way staying in the valley is good for biking as the enduro trails all finish down there. Its mostly just the bike park that shuttles to/from the village. I do like to stay in the village for drinks and the views but its easy for me as we stay with friends.

Also to whet your appetite see below, thenSwiss segment of Strength in Numbers seems to have dissapeared from YouTube in HD but here too. Study the map and do some research, try and diwnload the enduro routes onto a gps (from bikepark website) as despite visiting the resort for 25 years we got lost a bit. swissmobility phone app bery useful for maps. Note the trail in both videos next to the cliff is Chute du Bisse which officially is not on the bike map. Black 10 / Jackass is turely humbling for us and bike park trails are spicey, start with the blue. Enjoy and if I'm there same time I'll drop you a message.
