Hello all,

what are my options to use a road wheelset in a MTB frame with V-brakes.

I know Mavic use to sell an adaptor but that is out of stock. What else can I use?

Best regards

Juan

Eeer, is it a 700C MTB?

If the MTB is a 29er, then 700c road wheels should be fine - might need to adjust the brakes for the narrower rims. With a 26" MTB the difference is wheel rim radius is ~32mm, outside the adjustment range of brakes, hence the need for an adaptor yoke that fits over the brake bosses. Try ebay?

hub spacing will be different, the mtb frame and forks will be wider than road hubs.
