Hi all,

I’m looking at some Vaude shoes. Anyone with some able to comment on whether they come up large/small please?

Ta

A bit small. I'd size up I went a full size up.

Love them though 3 yrs not killed them yet. Ok grips not as good as my vxi impacts but I use the Vaudes every time

Mine are a EUR 45. I’m usually either a 44 or 45 in most shoes, so on the smaller side but not out of the ordinary. A size bigger would give room for a thicker sock in winter, but I wear mine all year round and they are a perfect fit with a normal sock.

All I can say is measure you foot properly as recently done mine as was totally shocked been wearing the wrong size for years, I had always gone for 41 and at a push 42. After finally getting my feet measured for cycling shoes I am more a size 43 and they feel so much better.

My previous favorite shoe was a Specialized 41 there has been no changes in sock's I wear or anything.

I’m sometimes a 42, sometimes a 43, depending on the make. I went for 43 with the Vaudes and they’re about perfect, I don’t think that they are sized particularly small.

Thanks for the feedback, useful stuff and fairly consistent too.

@goby well, I saw it on exxpozed.co.uk but having looked on trustpilot I’m not sure it’s worth the risk.

I’ve never seen any good deals on them anywhere - I just stumped up more or less the full price.

On Amazon, I think it was, but don’t quote me on that...

Coming to that conclusion, Andy. I hope they’re worth it. Seem to get good reviews for the things that matter to me.

I'm a size 44, and the 44 Moab Low AMs are just right for me.

I paid full price for mine and they are still the best value biking shoes I’ve ever bought. Three years in and they still look almost new. Most five-tens, by comparison barely lasted a year. Plus they are waterproof, and dry quickly when they do get wet.

Thanks Roverpig. I’d seen several mentions of yours on here about them. Hadn’t heard of them previously so I started looking into them based on your other posts. After payday this month I’ll see what’s about in an 11.

Cheers all 🙂

No problem. Hope they work out well for you. Otherwise, I guess it's my fault 🙂

And my fault too then - I really rate them. Waterproof, comfortable, keep looking good - what’s not to like?
