Just changed cars and need a new roof rack.
Quite fancy one of the flush Whispbars to maintain looks but as the kids have finally started riding bikes it'd need to be able to take 4 bikes and the flush bars aren't as wide as the through bars.
Does anyone have any experience of the flush bars and their capacity when it comes to carrying bikes?
Cheers
Not a V60, but I have a 2012 insignia estate, for which I bought the "better-looking" fitted bars. Basically, 4 bikes involves getting them on in the right order, with saddles dropped etc, and getting a bit of extra space between them would be very welcome.
I can't imagine your V60 is any wider than an insignia, so for practicality I'd go for the through bars...
I had flush bars on my car and snapped them buggering up the roof a bit - my own fault for overloading really, but the regular bars would (and have) been fine. Not that four bikes are likely to overload it, but standard bars will be more solid.
