So, thinking about it, I probably should have put some mounts on the frame I made to fit some brakes..
I've now got a set of Deore LX and am going to make some adaptors to fit over the swingarm to mount them on.
I remember from having V's that the mounting has 3 positions to locate the tensioner pin but was wondering if I would really need 3 as I can't check the angles.
Also, can I fit shorter length pads as the standard ones are too long and will foul on the tyre due to the small wheel size?

I've never mounted v brakes other than in the middle hole. I think the other holes were more useful for cantis

Shorter pads will be fine
