Afternoon all, I have a question about levers - I'm looking to move to flat bars on my Pompino and am unsure if V-brake specific levers are required? Will levers that work with normal cantis or side pulls suffice?
Thanks very much in advance.

Yeah, if you have v-brakes, then normal caliper levers will give a very spongy braking feel. V levers have a different cable pull ratio

Depends on the brakes? If you're buying new levers you can get flat bar levers for cantilever/calliper brakes or you can get flat bar levers for V-brakes. I think some will even convert between the two.
