Continental Rubber queen UST 2.2's on Mavic Crosstrails.
I have a track pump, have lathered the rim and tyre with soapy water, and have one of those "homemade ghetto tubeless inflators" that can pump 3l of air at 80psi into the tyre instantly - but no dice?
Even my ****ing ghetto solution wasnt this hard. Whats wrong?
You get a bastid tyre like that now and again 🙁
The way I have sorted it is to put a tube in and inflate to circa 50psi and leave for a day, in which time the bead will 'mould' to the rim. Carefully break one bead of the tyre, remove tube, (insert fluid now if required or through valve afterwards), insert tubeless valve, re-seat tyre bead and then re-inflate and the tyre will now seal onto rim.
