I have an original park tool CT6 chain splitter. However I now have 10 and 11 speed bikes. Will I need to buy a newer version, or does it actually work ok?

I use a Cyclo chain splitter I inherited from my dad, made before bikes, chains and roads were even invented, and it works fine
