I've researched a lot of options, but most of them work by converting the voltage up to a certain speed, which is my worry, as I do intend to be going faster than 12 kph bikepacking. Does anyone have any experience with this or could recommend something? I'm thinking perhaps something that could charge one of those anker power packs, which then feeds the power to the devices? iPhone, Sansa Clip Zip and a portable speaker is what I was looking to charge. I've already built up my wheel so there's no turning back! Thanks (:

Not sure what you mean, but most dynamo hubs will start generate enough steady power at about 12kph and over. Below that you won't get enough to charge smartphones effectively, although lights will still tend to power ok. Things like the B&M USB-Werk and Supernova Plug will also have a safety system so you can't damage devices by going really fast downhill and overloading them. A big external battery is a good thing to have as it'll give you a bit of stored power for hilly days when you can't keep a steady speed.

I use Sp dynamo hub > Biologic Reecharge > power bank > phone etc.

Takes a bit of trial & error to find a battery that charges & discharges simultaneously. Ankers do afaik.
