A winter project i'm doing is changing my Epic HT Mountain bike to drop bar. Monster cross... It fits so just need to sort the brakes out.

I have Shimano GRX 817 2x di2 shifters (obv in 1x configuration) . And have to use postmount MTB calipers. I know the shifters use sm-bh90 hose. which calipers would work?
I like the look of the HOPE offering but their website says that the RX4 caliper is not compatible:

Not currently compatible:
GRX RX815 Di2
GRX RX817 Di2

I'm unsure why? any one help? I've been Googling for hours.

No idea why Hope say that given that the Di2 and Mechanical shifters both use the same brake calipers. Maybe the Hope ones don't like the different leverage that the Di2 shifters use?

I'd really like to know the answer to the Hope thing as well for a build I'm planning.

Daffy is using Hope calipers with GRX Di2 levers and says it works fine.

Yup, I’ve been running two sets on two bikes for over 4000kms without any issues. 54km commute today in the pissing rain and all fine, well, fine with the brakes anyways.

Lots of power, lots of modulation and lots of pad clearance.
