[Closed] Using a hairdrier on hydraulic disc brakes?

Hadn't used this bike for a few weeks. Took wheels off and then probably pulled the brakes in the process of hanging the bike up. So now when I went to put the wheels back on the brakes wouldn't release properly - very sluggish. So heated up reservoir's and pipes slightly and all fine now.

Is this OK to do?

well done for having a hair drier, most male MTBers seem to be baldicoots :o)

its easier to just push the pistons back in with something plasticy, then centre them on the disc when you put the wheel back in surely?

fatmuthahubbard - I did try opening up the gap but to no avail. No long hair got in the way . . . .

seems rather strange...I would have thought heating the brake fluid would have caused them to tighten more rather than loosen.
