Not sure why I should be surprised by this but the "customer reviews" on the Evans Cycle website are a fix.
I posted 2 reviews a few weeks ago on items I bought there, a positive one for a jacket and a negative for a Garmin Edge 800 (terrible for the money in so many ways)
The positive review ended up on their site but the negative one didn't. I've spent thousands of pounds at that shop over the last few months (new bike, gps, new clothes) so emailed them telling them that if I didn't get a reasonable explanation as to why my review wasn't published I would not be shopping there again. That was a couple of weeks ago, heard nothing.
So just a heads up, if you're using the reviews to make purchase decisions it would appear that negative ones get filtered out so take them with a pinch of salt.
I shall remain true to my word and will never shop from them again, there are always other outlets willing to price match.
