Trying to figure out the best solution to mount either a light or torch to my Urge for night riding,I have to resort back to using my old giro but it's uncomfy as hell,I have the rubber torch mounts but the urge doesn't seem to have much in the way of vents for positioning it well,add to the MY GoPro mount is slap right on the top of the lid,anyone know a way to mount a torch or light on the GoPro mount

What light are you trying to mount?
Just a Chinese crew light,uses the band to either go on bars or that plastic helmet mount thing,I think Ye can unscrew the bottom bit off and add a QR thing I've seen on C&B seen but it doesn't help my problem for the lid

Is it the Endur-o-matic 1 or 2?
I use a strap GoPro mount for my light on the 2 but it has better vents for that than the 1.

I did my Troutie light with a mount and velcro strap through the top 2 holes on the front - see photos here.

Rickos what did you use to attach the light to the GoPro mounts
Don't know. It was what came with the light off Troutie. Smudge at mtbbatteries.co.uk may be able to help.
Just been to take a close up shot of the light (on a different helmet these days) and it's mount if it helps. Looks as though it was made for Troutie by whoever did his light cases. For the velcro strap to work you'd need the slots either side of the mount to run it through like I have. Give Smudge a shout anyway.
I've got one of those Raceware Direct mounts to fit the GoPro mount on my Bell Super. It works like it should.
Do these mounts work on any torch??its an ultra fire one not sure what size it is in comparison to the exposure one
