We recently discovered (and loved) Dirt Farm, so I am planning another bonding weekend with my lad and was thinking on trying something different to BPW, but close to Dirt Farm, or between Dirt Farm and London.
I can only think of FoD.
Thanks!

417 bike park?
Less technical than both fod and dirt farm, but a good laugh for a day

Really only Flyup 417 that I can think of with an uplift other than BPW or FOD.

Other than that you could push-up at Windhill - that’s quite a fun day on a smaller scale where you tend to session bits of trail and it’s not too big a hill to either push or cycle back up

FOD is brilliant. Flyup 417 is a great laugh, more "trail centrey" but still really good fun. And Cwymcarn I suppose isn't so far.

dyfi is surprisingly reachable from dirt farm. Longer drive home, but the best trails.

otherwise, wind hill, tidworth are both push ups but worth it, ukbikepark (or whatever its called this week) might also have a truck running. CwmDown still (maybe) runs at cwm carn?

How Gnarr is dirt farm? I have minions who can do all the blues and half of the reds at BPW, but according to dirt farm trail guide they start at intermediate?

Think they'd be fine on the blues there, from memory the reds are all rollable but the table tops on them are pretty big.

So no unexpected drops on the blues then?

Not that i remember no. Even on the reds there are not many drops and those that are there can be avoided

Been looking at this myself, as Dirt Farm looks great, wasnt it previously Black Mountain Cycle Centre?

Either way ive only heard good things, and im looking at going in September with BPW the next day.

Id steer clear of 417 as i didnt find it that great, short runs, not a lot of variety.
Apparently Forest of Dean is better.

yup rebranded from BMCC dunno why but it's the same place, I'm pretty keen to go back, and that's from someone living in Newcastle, think my jumping improved more in 1 day there than in years of riding elsewhere.

Thanks for the suggestions, I’ve ended up playing it safely and booked bpw and dirt farm.
I hope the weather is not too bad!

Reds at Dirt farm are all rollable, my Mrs prefers it to BPW and she wouldn't look at the Reds there.
Blue into Red Dragon into Moto into Wild Wood is one of the funnest trials I've ridden and all rollable.
