We just got back from a great long weekend in the Pallars area of the pyrenees in Spain doing mostly uplifted biking. They've got a lot of good enduro style trails in the area, probably worth a visit if you like that kind of thing.
We used these people (Mountain Bike Gravity Adventures | Wild Pyrenees Spain - MTB Pallars ) to organise it, they arranged the accomodation , transfers to and from the airport, and all the uplift and guiding.
We did 3 days riding, and each day consisted of about 10000 feet of descending, and maybe 500-1000 feet of climbing under our own power. we could have done more descending if we'd wanted to , but were too knackered .
Trails ranged from mellow flow type trails to fairly technical and steep, quite similar to the trails in/around bubion that switchbacks use, if anyone has ever been .

Anyway - I just thought i'd post about this , as its not an area I had read much about in terms of mountain biking, but its worth a visit .
