Off to Mallorca for a family holiday tomorrow, just figured out there might be some riding out there. An old thread suggested there was an uplift service there but the website is down so I guess they might have shut down due to covid, unless anyone knows any different?
So I guess my question is how tricky is it to self guide there with trailforks or similar? Are trails purpose built or all just cheeky footpaths down rocky descents? I'm happy to pay more for guiding if it gets me better trails..
Was in a similar position a few years back and hired a bike and was given a decent map and advice from Tramuntana Tours in Port du Soller.
I'm sure I only scratched the surface, but had a thoroughly enjoyable day out with a good mix of rocky trails, shared paths and a bit of tarmac. Plenty of opportunities to stop for snacks/refreshments along the way and lots of amazing views!
Thanks, seems like self guiding is a reasonable option then, I've noticed canyon have a demo centre out there..
