So my plan to buy a new MTB failed and now a owner of a very nice road bike instead....(made more sense than MTB)
But with Winter here my road bike goes away not to see the light of day as dirt and water arent good for its carbon lol.
So question is this, need a bike i can have some fun on during the winter and i really miss MTB.
So should i upgrade my current rockhopper ie new forks/wheels/brakes ect
Or should i buy a new bike ie 1k Vadoo from halfords ect.
Bassically is the frame of my rockhopper worth upgrades compared to a new Vadoo or something sumular?

my rockhopper is currently my commuting bike, and its 09 so 3 years old.
The fork is pretty much past it for MTB and its V brakes arent really upto british winter riding.
want to spend money so that i can actually ride MTB.
