Fox 2010 forks. Formula brakes. Have to formula 180 mm rotor which I want to fit .... What mount to I need to fit it? So much available on crc .... Thought I'd better get the answer from here first

Does the mount have to be formula cost they are way more expensive than the other brands?
Thanks

I'd be tempted (if you have one)to try an avid 185 adaptor as you may be able to grind off a couple of mm to make it fit. Ive used an avid 203 front adaptor with some shims and it works fine. No way I'm paying formula prices for adaptors.

http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mobile/MobileModels.aspx?ModelID=17390  = What I'm looking at but it's the post to IS that's confusing me. Found this old link .....  http://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/advice-needed-regarding-formula-brakesshimano-adapters .

They seem to think shimano would be fine but still not sure on the IS bit

What TheSwede says will work

But so will a Shimano/Hayes/Superstar/A2Z etc. 180mm post mount adapter too.

Defo don't pay formula prices!

Any PM -> PM 180mm front adapter will do, I've got a superstar one on my bike that seems to do the job just fine. Formula prices are outrageous, and they're not in any way special adapters.
