You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Does anyone know or have a prediction if this might be due anytime soon?
Its now one of the older designs in the range, with the rest getting the split swingarm, metric shocks, slacker, lighter etc. I have a 2018 Stage 4 and I am tempted to go up and get a Stage 5 (or even 6) but if a new model is due obviously I'd rather wait.
I've asked Orange themselves, no real answer.
No idea to be honest, but I'd be surprised if the Five or Stage 5 get the split swingarm. The slab sided swingarm is one of the defining features of the Five. Could be wrong though.
Metric shocks? Yes probably just to keep it current but any advantages are quite subtle and I wouldn't be waiting just for that.
Longer, lower slacker? Yes that seems to be pretty much required these days.
Lighter? Again, yes, but probably not so as you'd notice.
The big question is when are they going to bring back neon orange as an option 🙂
I reckon an update is due soon. Guessing it'll be metric shock with a more progressive leverage rate and probably a degree slacker. They'll also amend the cable routing a bit but unfortunately not go full external.
