You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Morning all, thinking about a trip up to the Trossachs area before the clocks go back & looking for ideas for routes.
Nothing gnarly, HT or gravel would do nicely. Not a trail centre, would be there for 2 days & based in 1 place unless anyone can suggest otherwise.
Any suggestions appreciated, Thanks.
Best of luck trying to get accomodation.
Callander is a nice base, loads of dull gravelly stuff round there.
My pals love this route

I've not ridden it yet though, not really to my tastes as it's a bit confined to one area but I think the tracks are all good and am sure you could find some diversions above Aberfoyle if you wanted to a bit more off-road.
Get in quick before they release the Lynx...

North and South of Aberfoyle are very different terrain though, don’t rule it out
Cheers 13thFM. Any other links/suggestions?
In fact it doesn't have to be Callander/Trossachs, I'm open to suggestions but don't want to go up as far as say Ft Willy or Cairngorms.

Motorhome job.
There is an aberfoyle route in this months mag (possibly the one before) which is a nice ride , quite short though but easy to add stuff onto . Glen Finglas is a nice scenic loop on decent paths .
